Roman LeSage
Roman LeSage · CSCS

You deserve a coach who put in the work to understand your body.

I'm Roman LeSage, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist based in Winter Garden, Florida, with a Kinesiology degree from the University of Central Florida. I specialize in hormonal periodization and menopausal performance. I saw that a group of incredibly important people were being neglected by the fitness industry. I sought to change that.

I'm not going to pretend my age is a non-issue. You might look at me and wonder whether I could possibly understand what you're going through. I hear you. While I may not have the same perspective as you might, I have put in the work to understand the physiology, read the research, learn from the best. All to build a method that puts the evidence into practice. I'm confident my work speaks for itself.

Every client works directly with me. No junior coaches, no handoffs, no one else interpreting your numbers and writing your adjustments. What you see on this site is who builds your program.

Real people. Real progress.

Seth Hensley

"Coach Roman has helped me build the confidence to bring myself to the gym and gave me the tools to keep showing up. AND he helped me build 10 lbs of muscle in just a month somehow."

Scott Robinson

"Prior to working with Roman, my best 50-meter freestyle was 24.6 seconds. I went 23.9 at the meet. Which is absolutely insane."

"He crafted a plan that took into account my goals but also was mindful of the multiple knee surgeries I have had. I have been very pleased with the results."

Common questions.

Most in-person trainers are selling you their time: they stand next to you, count reps, and tell you good job. That's not coaching. It's supervision. You're paying for someone's presence, not someone's thinking. What you get here is different: a program written specifically for your body, your schedule, and your goals before you ever touch a barbell. Video analysis of your movement. Direct access when you need it. Instead of just paying for a chaperone, you are paying for a teacher. One who wants for you to surpass your goals like they were easy.
No. My specialty is training for hormonal health, and that's the core of what I do. But I coach anyone who wants a well-built, individualized training plan. If you're a man looking to build strength, an athlete preparing for competition, or anyone who just wants a real plan built around their specific goals, you're welcome here. The common thread is clients who want programming that reflects where they are and where they're trying to go.
Fair question. I don't have your lived experience. I won't pretend I do. What I have is earned experience. A CSCS certification, a Kinesiology degree from UCF, and years of focused study in hormonal periodization: the physiology, the research, what the evidence shows about training across the menopausal transition. The credentials themselves don't answer the question for you. But the depth of knowledge is not limited to my perspective.
Yes. New to lifting is not a disqualifier. It just means the program starts where you are. The intake process is designed to build a full picture of your background so nothing is assumed.
Either works. I write programs around whatever equipment you have access to. Tell me during the discovery call and I'll account for it from day one.
Check-in cadence depends on your tier: biweekly or weekly video analysis of your progress, plus messaging support in between. Higher tiers include faster response times and more frequent touchpoints. Specifics are covered on the discovery call.
Two months minimum across all tiers. This is enough time to actually see what the programming does. Real adaptation takes longer than a few weeks. After that, it's month-to-month with 30 days notice to cancel.

The first call is free.
The only thing you lose is the guesswork.
